Listen, we’ve talked about it for a long time.

We’re all older, with families and jobs, and quality time together is precious. We didn’t want to scramble everyone in our lives for a single evening where we’d get to spend maybe 15 minutes with each person/group.

So we decided to keep it simple, just do something small, for ourselves, and then decide how/when to celebrate with our friends.

SO what do you want from us

That part is still important. You’re all such a big part of our lives, and we want to share this experience.

To celebrate with you!

We miss you all and we want to see you again, without all the stuffiness and structure – and without having to divide our time with randos.

Rarely. But this time, yes.
That’s the beauty of not having to wrangle our entire extended circles! We were thinking originally sometime this fall – September - November, ish. But you’re all so important that we’re flexible and wanted to find some time that EVERYONE can do.
This was one of the stock template questions. I decided to leave it for further misdirection.
Whatever — we were thinking at least a long weekend, but it would be cool to make a vacation out of it. We’ll probably go for a week or more, but as long as we overlap for at least a couple days, we’d be happy.
It started as a joke inspired by a meme, and it stuck. We both call each other “Beans” as a pet name. You’ll hear it more than once. It’s better you know this now.
